Well, my little brother Oliver is not too far away as we enter this Memorial Day weekend. As I look at my calender, it appears he will be here in just 15 weeks. I thought it would be best if I posted some of my newborn photos up here today along with a few ground rules for the new guy on campus!

1. I am the senior sibling! Questions?
2. I hold every right to assault you without reason.
3. Sharing? Right, get over it. It was mine to begin with and now your "borrowing it."
4. Food- I have the first right of refusal on all food items
5. You will change my diapers on command, no questions asked.
6. Mommy and Daddy are on my side.
7. You're in my world now O-Dawg

G-Dawg masters the remote

I always hear my mommy asking daddy, 'where's the remote?'. So I figured I should master this thing rather quickly. If it's important enough for my daddy, it's important enough for me! With that in mind, here's a few thoughts:

I don’t think remote controls promote a sedentary lifestyle. Most people exert more energy looking for the remote than they would by just getting up and turning on the TV.

I don’t think the remote control gets lost. I think my wife just hides it from me.

Kids used to fight over which TV show to watch. Now they just fight over the remote.

Remote controls are very valuable. They let you see that there’s nothing on TV worth watching a lot faster.

I wish I had a remote control for my mother-in-law. I’d have her on mute most of the time.
